Your First Grant
$100/hr
Whether you’re just starting to ramp up your fundraising, or you’ve been doing this ad-hoc for years, I can help you get ready for a more robust grants initiative. We’ll walk through what funders expect to see in a grant proposal, gather and create the supporting documents you’ll need, and draft a Master Grant that you can use as a template going forward. We’ll tell the story of your nonprofit in a way that is both transparent and compelling. And when you’re ready, I’ll help you identify a grant your organization qualifies for.
Grant Proposals
$100/hr
If you’ve applied for grants before, but you need an extra hand with the drafting, working with a contract grant writer is a great way to get the proposal done well and on time. I’ll work with you and your team to consolidate your existing materials, tailor them to a specific grant, and draft and submit a proposal you can be proud of.
We’ll also set internal deadlines to make sure there’s time to review, so everyone who needs to has time to review the grant proposal before it’s submitted.
Includes letters of inquiry, specific form-questions, and full grants proposals + budgets.
Revisions
$100/hr
If you already have a draft of your grant proposal, but are looking for someone to review it before applying, look no further. This cost-saving approach is best suited for nonprofits with staff capacity but without grant-specific expertise. I’ll give you my candid analysis of where I think your proposal is ready and where it needs work, and help get it to the finish line.
On a case by case basis, I may also revise non-grant-related writing, like reports and substantive materials. Depending on my experience with the substance, revisions may be limited to the stylistic and technical, i.e. readability, tailoring to audience, word choice, proofreading.
